The Internal Faculty Development Programme (IFDP) is a specialized initiative designed to transition seasoned professionals from industry and other sectors, as well as early career academics, into highly effective educators within higher education. This program focuses on equipping participants with the pedagogical skills, curriculum development expertise, and understanding of the academic environment necessary to excel in teaching professional subjects. Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded the "Professor of Practice Honorary (Hon.)" certificate, acknowledging their readiness to contribute significantly to academia. The IFDP bridges the gap between practical industry experience and academic rigor, fostering a dynamic learning environment for students. It emphasizes innovative teaching methodologies, student engagement strategies, and the integration of real-world applications into the curriculum.
Lecture, discussion, group tasks, case studies, presentations. .
Participants will work in group on given assignment problem and will submit the group task report on given date in the shared assignment folder. Only who participate and complete assignments in more than 90% of the sessions will be awarded certificate.
The programme design is for 12 weeks followed by option of participating in graduation at international destination along with Global Academia-Industry Summit.
Participation in International Graduation is optional at price of Euro 400.
Certificate will be awarded by School of Design and Management, Malta with endorsement of 20 ECTS equivalent efforts by the participant.
